EDIT: 22-10-16 - LabPBR packs fixed.

This is the latest PiXXL Accurate (formerly VanillaccurateXXL) release! Lots of new stuff in here, check out the changelog on the 64x/128x post.

This is the 1K/2K version for gold patrons.

Free packs 64x and 128x plus changelog here.

Stone patrons can get the 256x version here.

Iron patrons can get the 512x version here.

PROGRESS: 36,67% of blocks

Most shaders will work fine with the LabPBR format anyways, so in general Lab is the way to go. SEUS Renewed & PTGI, Sildur's, ... for example work fine with LabPBR.

LabPBR

for BSL, Kappa, Continuum, Nostalgia, MollyVX, Spectrum, Chocapic PBR, ...

1K: Base - Deep - EndNether - TWC - Util

2K: Base - Deep - EndNether - TWC - Util

OldPBR

for SEUS Renewed and PTGI, older Chocapic, Sildur's, LUMA, ...

1K: Base - Deep - EndNether - TWC - Util

I'm just wondering, what does the "Deep" pack do?

hardtopnet

The deep pack contains all blocks related to deepslate and other blocks at those depths

Anonymous

silly question but what does all of these stand for Base - Deep - EndNether - TWC - Util? Thanks in advance

hardtopnet

As Minecraft isn't currently able to load large packs like 1k or 2k, i decided to split the pack into subpacks containing theme-related blocks. Base contain most naturally-occurring overworld blocks, TWC contain terracotta, wool, concrete and concrete powder, deep contain blocks at the negative levels such as amethyst, deepslate, ... End-nether contain end and nether blocks, util contain utilities such as crafting table, smithing table, ...

This pack is so gorgeous I need to buy more RAM! Sorry if this is a frequent question, but I've seen armor and weapons sometimes shine in your past promo images, do you offer a weapon/armor add on?

PremiumTortoise

Hi, so the resource packs load fine (don't get a resource didn't load error) but in game, the blocks seem no different..? Any idea?

hardtopnet

Might depend on the shader pack you're using Check this guide maybe https://hardtopnet.ovh/download/?shaderconf

PremiumTortoise

Ahh most likely because I am using Iris? I'm using KappaPT for shader and it requires Iris now and doesn't support optifine with its more recent versions. Do you think that is it? Anything I can do?

hardtopnet

Oh right Iris. No my packs are supposed to work with Iris, I test them with Optifine, Iris and even Focal with ContinuumRT. Do you see material details on the default textures still ? Or does it look plain vanilla ?

Dresden

I downloaded the 1k and the blocks that were added aren't there and also the title still has 0.3 in it

hardtopnet

what block seems to be missing? also which pack did you try? the deepslate ores can be found in the "deep" pack of course

hardtopnet

yep I had an issue with the labPBR packs, they should be ready within a couple of minutes.

Hey so I see its split into 5 components of the pack. How am I supposed to fuse them so they are one useable texture pack? No tutorials online

hardtopnet

Had to split them for memory concerns. You download the sub packs and load them one on top of the other as resourcepacks

Anonymous

Unfortunately I have to load the packs 1 by 1. If I get to the fifth pack, it fails to load and exits them all out. Using a benchmarked (healthy) 4090 and 7000 series but the 2k is quite laggy for me tbh. Any optimizations? Also no Discord?

hardtopnet

2k shouldn't be laggy unless you're using iris or running out of ram. That's why you probably can't load all 1K packs at once as well. Need 64GB so far I'd say.

hardtopnet

As for discord I'm active on the shaderslabs discord https://discord.gg/RpzWN9S you can ask some technical questions there to improve performance

am using SEUS PTGI HRR 3 which might be similarly intensive to IRIS. 64GB RAM (prob like 50 available) idk for now 512 seems good tho there is a 'honey comb' square effect on stone caused by elevations at | the seams of the big pixels on the height map for some reason in 512

Anonymous

btw using 2k not 1k

hardtopnet

The base 2K pack should load without issues with 64GB RAM. If at some point it doesn't load anymore I'll split it further.

I seem to remember some textures being in the vanilla accurate pack, but not the new PIXXL accurate pack, like beds, various crafting blocks and birch leaves. Are these supposed to be included, or are they not in this pack? and if so, is there a way to get them back?

hardtopnet

The PiXXL pack is not really related to the old Vanillaccurate pack, it's more of a spiritual successor. It's been entirely rewritten from the ground up and doesn't support all the blocks Vanillaccurate does. But of course the plan is to include them at some point, it just takes time to include them all.

hardtopnet

also, Vanillaccurate was native 512x whereas PiXXL is native 2K. There was a 2K Vanillaccurate pack at some point but it was very hacky and never got developed past a couple of blocks.

Anonymous

That's what had me confused. Is the 512 pack still available anywhere? The old link doesn't seem to work

Anonymous

never mind, the site just doesn't display well on Firefox
