hihi

My new mic arrived today and I wanted to hear the difference in them, I think my new mic is more mellow maybe? Less sharp than the Yeti could get at times (which was the thing that was really bugging me)

I don't think it will be too much of a difference mid-moan, but I am so curious of what you think! You'll here this mic again at the $10 level for the extra audios I make on that tier monthly, but I am currently recorded through JUNE for my regularly scheduled audios so it'll be a little bit before this makes it into the rotation.

I will record rambles and likely some extra unscheduled audios before then so don't worry, you will hear it again soon. :D

edit!

Tonight I recorded a new audio with my new mic, which you will hear tomorrow, I also made my schedule for next week.

I think the right one sounds better

Elle

The new one sounds cleaner, left has more vocal fry :)

Light

The new mic sounds crisper 👌🏽

Fix

Well, it's different when a snip edit doesn't make one voice sound a tad robotic. But I'm guessing that's not what you meant? The right/new one does feel a tad more... natural? Less of that compression that's common for radio or podcasts, more of the feel of a real room. Iykwim. I actually played it way too many times, just because comparing is such a fun game (and I might have laughed enough the first time not to even notice much).

The new mic sounds more soft and warm when the old one is a little more pitchy almost a pinch "nasal" if that makes sense.
