Sketches 15: More Sketchbook (Patreon)

First off: Sorry for the lack of extra/exclusive sketches lately! I'm still filling sketchbooks, but I was unable to take any photos during the winter months. I hope I can make up for it in the near future!

So ... these are more sketches from the same sketchbook as those!

I think I've said this before, but I called this sketchbook my "shitty one", initially because the paper quality is abyssmal, but also becaus when I settled on that nick name, I noticed how freeing it was? I can just do whatever! 

The first page, with the "Let me help w/ this shittyness", that's from my bf :^D he drew Prince, Jameel, Marıyan and Wessam in a super cute style!! So I wanted to capture that for the other half of the spread. And there are the first dinos ...

Dinos!! I drew a bunch of 'em with feathers and I must say a) it's super fun, you should try and b) they look fly af, why don't I see more of them out in the wild??? Feathery awesomeness

And the second big theme as you can see is Jameel in Drag. I've been thinking a lot about that for multiple months, but never showed anything so far. Currently I'm thinking about the name Mama Ghanoush for her*. Buuuut I am not sure. It's build on my ignorance, really. I thought it was a nice pun because Baba Ghanoush is an arabian dish/dip/appetizer, but I didn't know that Mama Ghanoush was a real thing as well, a variation of the same dish. Never heard of it until I googled it. Now I'm unsure if that makes it pointless ...

Anyway! I'm trying out a bunch of outfits for that girl :^D If you have a favorite, I'd love to hear it! Mine is probably the goth queen with the spikey crown haha 

*Of course, since it's drag, in drag Jameel's pronouns are she/her, (girl, queen, and so on!) while out of drag he uses he/him mostly, but ... actually, he doesn't really care? Any pronoun is fine with him.
