Art Summary 2021 (Patreon)

Hey, hope y'all arrived safely in 2022! 

I had a few chill days, took a bit of a break, including this weekend. But I'm very ready to get back to drawing. I still have 1/3 of the sketch comms to go right away, and also: Comic Work! It's what I'm looking forward the most.

Up there is one picture I really liked per month, sometimes my fave, sometimes one I'm proud of or that just represent what I was doing that month.

2021 was a mixed bag for me, I feel like I didn't really develope much as an artist? And I repeated myself a lot in my art. On the other hand, I think I've gotten faster. And I still enjoy it immensely. But I miss doing bigger works, putting more effort into a single piece and really stretching my artist muscles, you know what I mean? 

When I put this meme together yesterday I was also surprised to find my 2021 art folder to be way less chunky than my 2020 one. But now I realize, I've totally forgotten that I did a Pretty Sketchbook & the daily one. That are like ~400 pages extra 😂 while I filled barely any sketchbook page the year before, whoops. (And yes, I'm still doing the daily sketchbook, it's just too dark here to take photographs)

April is btw my most essential Jameel drawing. That's him. ☺️

And July is my fave of the whole year, because Prince 💖💖💖 Glad to have him in my lil furry crew
