Im so sorry for being so absent the past week or so. Things have been doing not so amazing. 6 years ago my partner Cole was diagnosed with stage 5 renal(kidney) failure. Both of his kidneys had 0% function, and he was close to cardiac arrest and almost passed away that night. It was unchecked for months because we were so young and didnt have insurance. We were scared, and didnt realize the severity of it. A year later he had gotten a donar kidney! We were so happy! Dialisis is really hard on the body and you have a short life expectancy on it. The kidney was great, ups and downs of course. lots of trips to the hospital since he had kidney failure. We just found out, his newly donated kidney has been failing for a year now slowly. I dont know why they never told us. After 4-5 years of having the kidney it is now at 10% function, and he will again. Have to go to dialisis, the passed week has been so mentally exhausting. Hospital visit after hospital visit. We've been dealing with serious insomnia and fatigue. Just absolutely exhausting. We are struggling, but we are slowly coming to terms with it, and feeling a little better today. Life has been so exhausting, i miss being a kid
