So long as human artists provide artwork that the A.I cannot do it is unlikely artists will lack for work. The issue happens though with simple availability and simplicity. Outside of more niche worries such as hands, feet, and other odds and ends the A.I can generate it. Depending on when the technology improves things will need to be changed in the artist world with people either claiming the A.I art as their own work, saying they got it commissioned for clout, calling it "real art," or as I've seen recently stealing an artist's work-in-progress, putting it through the A.I. and posting it before the artist and claiming it as their own work. This technology is great, but people are going to abuse it and make what's meant to be something fun and recreational into attempts to replace real life artists for clout and for cheaper artwork. Just be careful of the future, Nekoda. You will always have my support regardless! ^^

Yes, I have communicated with many painter friends, and I found that most of them are very pessimistic. But I don't think AI can replace humans. Instead, it can help people create better. Just like when the hand-painted board first appeared. The main problem is the abuse of AI and the crackdown on new artists. Learning the basics of drawing can be difficult.
