updates 01/04/23 (regarding discord) (Patreon)

hello everyone!! we've been having some issues regarding discord auto-assigning roles so if you're also having this issue please don't feel bad!! it's probably not your fault. i recommend double-checking that your discord is linked to your patreon. you have to go into your settings to do so and grant patreon access. most people think that providing your discord tag is linking it, which is not the case. theoretically, there shouldn't be any issues if you've done that buuut there has been...so i'm asking that any patrons who didn't get the roles stay in the discord AND NOT SPAM JOIN AND LEAVE. patrons who were in the discord before they pledged had no issue receiving roles, so i'm assuming the main reason behind this whole thing is people not being in the discord. there's a huge influx of patrons so my guess is that the integration is going in order and adding them veeeery slowly. another thing to note is that in order to access the rest of the server you have to read the #rules. if you have your patreon linked to discord and you can't see anything but #rules and #announcements that most likely means you didn't read the rules. you cannot access the rest of the server without reading them. i say this so often i feel like a broken record. anyways thank you all for your continued support and hopefully, the discord issue gets resolved soon 🙏💙
