August 2023 Exclusive Sketch (Patreon)

This one's gonna be SUPER fun to work on, and i havent been as proud of a composition i made as this in a while! I love mew and mewtwo and it kind of fits since there's an event in scarlet and violet right now where you get a free mew to use to fight a tera raid mewtwo. My idea is that this is some sort of power training with nutrients and it's... very nutritious to say the least. I'm probably not going to line this the traditional way, but rather clean up my sketch meticulously so I can get a really rough but stark lining method. I've also noticed when I draw props and machinery, it helps to use rougher scragglier brushes because the inaccuracy and variation built into the lines makes it harder for me to become self conscious about not having clean detailed wires and panels and symmetrical buttons and stuff like that. It's half a mechanical thing and half a mindset thing, if I can convince myself that it's less of a big deal then it's less of a big deal. Sorry this one got rambly but I'm just REALLY excited about this piece and its process!
