We just passed Midsummer here pretty recently, and it looks like Penny and Artemis celebrated the occasion in style.  Flowers are a good look for her, don't you think?  And what could those Mysterious Ancient Sigils painted on her body mean...?

...seriously, could someone tell me?  I haven't got a clue.

Several variations included in the attachments, including naughtier versions, as well as some for those who prefer Penny denuded of Mysterious Ancient Sigils.

I mean historically and according to the archaeological record many ancient tattoos didn't have any particularly specific meaning in and of themselves. Obviously they had meaning to the persons who got them; but in many cases geometric or concentric designs and patterns were more general; respecting natural cycles or the (apparently instinctive) human appreciation of artistic symmetry.

and examples of symmetrical pattern carvings and art indicate that kind of work you drew here goes back as far as there has been art at all. I'd assume tattoos of that nature do also but other than otsi and a few bog people we don't have a lot of examples of tattooed skin going back nearly as far.

Also sorry for the wall of text, this is absolutely beautiful art that is both sexy and romantic.
