Behold, an "Endpage" cartoon I wrote and drew for the sadly defunct videogame magazine PSM back in February of 2007 (if the file's "Properties" dates are accurate). The subject was, I gather, the flowing white tresses of newly announced character "Nero" from the then-upcoming PS3 game Devil May Cry 4:

Yeahp, these PSM pieces had quite a few yaoi references that might well have puzzled gamers of the era, in part because, at the time, several female artist friends of mine were avid producers and consumers of the genre, and I admired their "damn the torpedoes," IDGAF gumption. In fact, it's quite possible that I might've been inspired to release the notably sketchy series Empowered due to being inspired by their bold examples. (Well, maybe; OTOH, I had no other g-d options in comics at that time other than releasing Empowered.)

A related topic, as seen in the piece's last line, was the frequent Endpage mocking of Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 2. Regular as clockwork, every 4-6 months or so someone digs up all my Endpage art featuring "Sexually Ambiguous Raiden", as he was dubbed in the initial salvo below:

...then raves delightedly about this, ah, "sassy" iteration of the character in my Twitter/X feed and asks for more such artwork pronto. Almost immediately, a vehement chorus of disapproving voices pops into said Twitter feed and denounces said artwork as appallingly 'phobic. Lather, rinse, and repeat on a usually twice-yearly basis as I ignore my "Mentions" for a week or so each time.

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: No idea, TBH, but something should be coming up in the next M/W/F slot. Let's find out together, shall we?
