LIFE DRAWINGS FROM PHOTOREFERENCE #206: S'more brand-new Clip Studio Paint sketches from random photoref! (Patreon)

Here's another new Clip Studio Paint (iOS) sketch set based on old photoreference from my tablet's camera roll:

Ah, yes, behold the limitations of my "squiggle-based" rendering with the CSP iOS Design Pencil brush; that's the best pencil-emulating digital tool that I've found in years and years of searching, but the brush still falls well short of truly simulating my beloved ultra-soft 2mm leads.

While I do like sketching from high-contrast ref like the images at right, one problem with working from such photos is that they feature such complicated lighting schemes that I can't properly visualize and emulate similar shading for new pics drawn from imagination. (Oh, well.)

Speaking of which, today I'm hoping to wrap up what has been by far my most difficult and challenging miniseries proposal of the last decade (at least); if that pitch gets rejected after I finally submit it to the editor, I'll very likely post it here quite soon. Yay?
