After a wondrous two weeks devoid of electrical issues, problems have once again arisen, so posting is gonna be tricky over the next week or two, alas.

So here's a quick Work Stages post featuring the roughs for another upcoming Harley Quinn variant cover. First in the image gallery above is the compiled "collage" rough, which wound up being approved:

Ah, but I kinda cheated on that rough as it's actually pieced together from five different HQ single-figure sketches I'd already drawn, as the succeeding images in the gallery will show.

I tried a different collage using a few of the same sketches in a different arrangement:

...but it didn't make the cut, a judgment with which I would definitely agree.

Anyhoo, it's mighty g-d cold downstairs with the g-d furnace out most of the day, so I'm pulling the plug on this post and heading upstairs to my interim drawing table to ink the cover illo in relative comfort. Have a warm one yourselves, folks!

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: What shall the next M/W/F slot hold? Dunno, but I should be able to stagger through getting another few posts up, even if I have to fire up the g-d generator to do so.

Your take on Classic Harley is adorable. Your talent for expressiveness is so well-suited to her.

Asking comic artists to draw Harley their own way is what I usually do at conventions. Wish I'd been at one where you were present. =)
