Look at me, building up that post buffer like there's no tomorrow!

Anyhoo, here are a few of my earliest damsel-in-distress sketch sets for the oft-imperiled Elf Mage heroine of my brand-new Clip Studio Paint test-bed project, the fantasy-milieu romantic action/comedy dealie The Chained and the Chaste (or, possibly, The Chaste and the Chained).

UPDATE: In fact, we are now rolling with choice-of-the-people The Chaste and the Chained as the comic's title.

I'm making an attempt to depict the Elf in an older style, with a somewhat proportionately larger head size akin to how I was first drawing Emp 20-odd years ago:

However, there's one element in this first set of sketches that is just now undergoing change in later drawings of this character: here, the Elf is sporting the convex upper curve of the breast that I've been using over the last three or four years for increasingly busty iterations of Emp.

The effect isn't yet clear in the final sketch at lower right, but for later sketches of the oft-undressed Elf I'm trying out a reversion to a more concavely stylized upper curve of the breast, which is how I used to draw Emp early on. (More on this matter later, but this a well-known artistic riff used to emphasize youthful beauty.)

That last pose, BTW, was traced from an old-ish (5-6 years ago, I'd guess) set of unused Emp DiD pose sketches:

...where you can see the concave-ish upper curve on Emp's chest more clearly at far left.

The opposite, "convex AF" approach can be seen on the final image in the gallery, which is one last sketch of imperiled Flight Attendant Lily:

...who will remain strapped to an overhead... something for the foreseeable future, as poor Rose & Lily have had their roles usurped by The Chaste and the Chained's Elf Mage for the time being. Sorry 'bout that, Lily—though I am prrrrrobably going to post my one finished Rose & Lily CSP test page as the fast-approaching Exclusive Monthly Bonus Post for the Biggest Spenders early next week.

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: See previous paragraph, though that post will likely go up on Tuesday, leaving one more open Monday slot to finish off January. What could it be? Ehh, dunno as yet.
