Final colors (and full WORK STAGES) on EMPOWERED vol.12's FRPG-y back-cover illo! (Patreon)

Behold, kicking off the sprawling image gallery above is my bud Ryan Kinnaird's brand-new, final-draft coloring job for the illustration that will be seen on the back cover of the upcoming Empowered vol.12, featuring the fantasy RPG-based characters "Goblin Ninja Kozue" (a variant of Ninjette, of course) and "Devilspawn Bard Hannah" (a variation of Mindf**k). For more on this scene from the book, you can check out this preview from last October. 

The rest of the images are the complete Work Stages for the piece, the B&W portions of which were previously seen here in September 2021. If you click through the color jpegs, you can see the gradual progress of the colors as Ryan and I traded color guides and drafts back and forth. Wheeeee!

This wound up being good practice for future projects, as I'm loosely planning to write and/or draw not just one but quite possibly two fantasy-based comics after Empowered vol.12's seemingly endless grind finally ends. (More on this later, as one of the potential pitches looks like it'll use characters from nascent Patreon projects Party of Two and Hushed Half-Elf.)
