UPDATE: Accidentally scheduled this post to go up at 9pm instead of the usual 9am. Whoops! Well, here it is in the afternoon, only 5 hours late.

Following up on Tuesday's "roughs, pencils & inks" post, here are the final cover colors (and my color guides) for another mid-2000s cover illo I drew for a sourcebook from the pen-and-paper RPG Exalted. I think the book's title was something along the lines of Exalted: The Books of Sorcery, Vol. V: The Roll of Glorious Divinity II: Ghosts & Demons...  probably? (I gather the concept was that this second book was focused on infernal beings, as opposed to the previous book's divine focus.)

The thoroughly badass final color art was provided by Lee Duhig of the fine coloring studio Guru eFX, who worked with me on projects ranging from old-school stuff like Gen13 and Dirty Pair: Sim Hell Remastered to this year's Venom: The End

TOMORROW ON THIS HERE PATREON: Probably taking a break from Friday con sketches to show off some recent Clip Studio Paint sketch sets based on higher-tier art requests, assuming I can knock out a few more of 'em shortly.

Also, either Friday or over the weekend (depending on how long scanning the pages takes me), Patrons of the $10 & $20 levels will get their tier-exclusive post for the month—a sneak peek at the apocalyptic, hellishly time-consuming Empowered vol.12 double-page spread I've been working on for most of a g-d week!

I get such Berserk eclipse vibes from this piece. I love it! But does colors doe!

I used to play this game with some friends back in college. It had its moments.

An ongoing theme of Exalted is that everything has ridiculously long titles. I guess being verbose is one of the side effects of divine power.

I think the Caged Demonwolf might agree with you there, though I guess that's more "arcane" /"eldritch" than divine as such.
