Clip Studio Paint sketch dump (Patreon)
Content
Behold, a trio of Clip Studio Paint sketch sets of photoref-based life drawings, once again using the "Rough Pencil" brush to kinda-sorta emulate the look of my analog 5B pencils.
The first (and best) one happened because I was browsing the Internet Movie Firearms Database for some reason—hat site is an absolute rabbit hole for the gun aficionado, to put it mildly—and stumbled across a few shading-intensive photos in the Terminator 2: Judgment Day entry that seemed ripe for some life drawin'.
The second is, theoretically, based on a suggestion from the last bunch of art requests, one of which mentioned the idea of Ninjette and Oyuki facing off in the snow, as in the ending scene of Kill Bill vol.1. Wellp, the pic below is as far as I got before day-job work overwhelmed me. (Someday I'll have to post the ref pics of that fantastic Ninjette cosplayer, whose outfit I've used for numerous images of our New Jersey ninja.)
And finally, s'more shading-oriented life drawing tests:
I'm in the midst of a g-d catastrophic work-related crisis right now, which I'm sure I'd be amused by if it were happening to someone else. Not sure I'll ever talk about what's happening, though it's genuinely bizarre and unprecedented; let's just say, the situation's a spectacular mess. This might interrupt my weekdaily posting (GASP!), though I'll endeavor to keep the Patreon train a-rollin'.
