EMPOWERED & SISTAH SPOOKY #2 thumbnails, pt.1 (Patreon)

Following up on a pair of posts (pt. 1 and pt.2) from last month,  here are my 4-pages-at-a-time thumbnails for the first half of issue #2 of last year's Empowered and Sistah Spooky's High School Hell, a six-part miniseries written by me, drawn by Carla Speed McNeil, and colored by Jenn Manley Lee. Note that, by this time, I'd started using the same red and blue pencils that I trot out for my con sketches, here used to emphasize points like the glows blue of the enemy's eyes and scalpel, not to mention the ickiness of the frog intestines. (And yes, Emp is indeed gagged with a length of such froggie innards, which may be the single most disgusting bit of damsel-in-distresshood she's yet had to endure.)

The "thumbs" for the rest of the issue will be posted later this week, never fear. (Also, the script for the issue, at some point.)
