So.

Honestly not sure how much interest might exist for this particular reward tier, but here we go!

Above is one of my 310-odd sets of life drawings from random photoreference, a sketching kick I've been on (well off and on) since December 2016; specifically, we're looking at the example I pasted into this Patreon's About section. Howeva, what you see above is a cropped and, more importantly, Photoshop-tweaked jpeg, adjusted in Levels to be a fair bit cleaner and higher-contrast than the original pencils.

Attached below is the never-seen-before, 600dpi, 26-meg raw Photoshop scan of the sketch set, taken via an old Epson Perfection 4490 Photo scanner. (The Epson Perfection V550 is the up-to-date model, by the way.) In my experience, no brand is better than Epson for capturing fine pencil detail; I could, in fact, rant at length about other companies' scanners failing to acquire the grayscale delicacy I need.

Hey, since I mentioned I've been doing life drawings from photoreference for rather a while, I might as well add the very first set, from December 3, 2016. Compare and contrast?  And, yeahp, the 600dpi raw scan is attached below as well.

Anyhoo, lemme know if these raw scans are of interest to any of you. (Wasn't sure about that, which I why I made 'em available at the Tip Jar tier.)

These raw scans are amazing to see and are a very welcome addition to this tier. As an amateur doodler myself, it's also very cool to see how much you've improved over all these years and are still working on sharpening those skills to this day.

I dig the raw scans as well. Anything that allows me to see an artist's process is always welcome.

Personally I LOVE seeing these, as they're a wonderful insight into your work process. It's also been a treat to see how your artwork as changed since starting these exercises.
