This is a story driven entirely by two images I found.  Patrons may know that I am always exploring the edges of the transgender phenomenon, where a gentle young boy is lured away from the gender that he ought to live his life in by some life-changing event.  Is it even possible?  The accepted wisdom, soundly based on science, is that we are born with gender dysphoria.  Is it really that simple?
