This is another one sparked by a seed from Erin: “He keeps dreaming while he is laid up in the hospital - it's almost another life he is leading in his dreams - he is always a woman. Somehow it works out that when they release him, after time in a rehab unit, he is released as a woman.”

I am not sure how she expect the change at the end, but I did not feel the need to go that far.
