Another story for that anthology I am working on about imposters, assisted by Erin as muse constantly popping up with ideas like this one: "A shifty sort has taken over the identity of a young widow in order to get access to her husband's wealth but suddenly the husband shows back up and the imposter is caught but ... is he? They are both impostors and live happily ever after"

This one became a little more involved an at 4770 words it is longer than most of my stories.  What do you think of it?  I am asking my patrons for a few words in exchange for all of mine!

You did well with Erin's seed idea. This is worthy of an Alfred Hitchcock Presents episode. Just for my own taste, I would prefer that the ending be more open-ended with the faux Keith retaining an edge of malevolence, even as he succumbs to Olivia's charms. Sort of the thrill some cis women find in loving violent men. But that's just me (not that I personally go for that stuff, mind you -- hee hee). The story's fine as it is. I enjoyed it.
