This story arose in a strange fashion, as set out in the note at the bottom.  I recently posted "Making Changes" on Big Closet - a story I posted here just after writing it, one year ago.  I always post here first, but in this case I had to respond to the sharp eyes of a reviewer and weave a story around that little detail.
