I highly disagree the theory that xebec is week but had a strong crew because when Kaidou was thinking about people who are strong and could fight him 1 vs 1 xebec was show with roger and whitebeard. i think it was in ep 1015

King Cobra's family was one of the 20 families that established the world government after winning the war at the end of the void century. The other 19 families become Celestial Dragons but Cobra's family decided they wanted to go back home instead. This is why Cobra gets a little special treatment sometimes even though his family isn't liked that much by the Celestial Dragons. His family is seen as turning their backs on the Celestial Dragons just because they didn't want to become one themselves.

This special treatment that Cobra gets sometimes also extends to Shanks. How Shanks is treated by Sengoku when Shanks shows up at Marineford, Shanks (an emperor) gets a private audience with the Gorosi. Many people believe Shanks is a Celestial Dragon, his family living on God Vally when Rocks attacked.

If you look at the picture of the Gods Knights again, in the middle is someone who kinda looks like Shanks. I don't think Shanks is a God's Knight (a lot of people do now). I think that is a Celestial Dragon from the family Shanks belongs to. Maybe even a brother. Not all Celestial Dragons are dumb. The Gorosi and I believe the God's Knights too are also Celestial Dragons.
