I know this is old, but the subtitles was blurry with Yamato's gender. Yamato is just like how ppl cosplay as a character with an opposite gender, and she speaks in a tomboy-ish way in Japanese in the way she addresses herself. Hence misleading the translations to give her the him pronoun, and completely different to Kiku's situation, despite some toxic fans insisting Yamato being trans.

Wasn’t blurry at all. He clearly refers to himself as him and so do the rest of the people around him. Unless Oda comes out and says otherwise Yamato clearly wants to be addressed as he/him. That’s what I’m gunna do until the series or Oda shows me anything otherwise. If Yamato says it’s he, then it’s he. It’s as simple as that

“The other Ancient Weapons might also not actually be weapons.” It’s been confirmed all the way back in Enies Lobby that Pluton is a warship. Franky even had the blueprints for it before destroying them. The Poneglyph in Alabasta that Robin read even points to its location.

Just to clear up any reference to the vivre cards: Oda does not write the vivre cards and they are not always reviewed by him. In fact, they're notoriously inaccurate, including one that said Luffy ate his devil fruit at 15 years old, and another that said yasuie did not eat a smile fruit.

just a comment, there has not been a single moment in the entire manga that a person who knew yamato referred to him as anything other than a man or a son, and most everytime he is referred to as a woman he comments on how theyre wrong. I do however that as a gendernonconforming transperson myself, the yamato discourse has been pretty personal to me.

There is a moment later in the story (chapter 1052). Not yet animated so that's all I'll say. But it very clearly is Oda stating Yamato is a guy. Everyone saying otherwise just needs to get over it...

Pointing to it's location doesn't rule out it being a person, since the Skypeia Poneglyph called out Poseiden being on Fishman Island. But yeah, Franky having the blueprints, and everyone, including people who had those blueprints for years, being 100% certain it's something they could replicate just from said blueprints is pretty definitive that the Pluton at least isn't a person. And I still would not be the least bit surprised if Franky snuck a bit of Pluton derived tech into building the Sunny.

I love that 994 ends with Yamato saying him and Luffy will take a shortcut and it's implied they just bust through all of the walls to get there. It actually made me laugh out loud.

i dont know if you remember but in water seven arc it was revealed that pluton the ancient weapon is a warship and that has the power to destroy islands and franky had the blueprints thats why cp9 was after him. but he burnt them their has been this ongoing theory for years that he might have memorised them but we dont know. Just a lil reminder for you it was mentioned a long time ago so u mightve forgotten it. Love the videos!!
