From my perspective. Fairy Tail itself will get better and better. Later on the animation becomes worse, but the Music who also gets better every time and the story make up for it.

Also, the issue with how the Blue Pegasus guys treat Wendy is totally cause of the English translation and a clear misunderstanding by the translators of what Hosts are and how they operate. They aren't seriously flirting with the any of the girls, including Wendy (Ichiya might actually be trying to flirt with Erza, but that's a whole different thing). Hosts' entire thing is to shower all females with affection as a service. They aren't "flirting" with them in the way we know it. They are basically just trying to make the girl feel special. I have a friend that used to work as a host, and they are told "It doesn't matter is she's 6 or 60. It doesn't matter if she is petite or burly. You shower her with affection until she leaves the building feeling like a queen." It's somewhat similar to boy bands. The whole exchange is meant to be for the girl's benefit, and usually at a charge. The translators (probably more people with an agenda) went out of their way to make it creepier than it is by throwing in comments about flirting and saying "bad touch". They should know full well the context of this scene, so I can't help but believe that this was translated this way on purpose. Oh, also, Eve, the blonde one, is about her age anyway.

Seriously make a note that Natsu remember Wendy from somewhere it would be brought up waaaayyy later in the story. It's just a cool Easter egg like Natsu and Gajeel in the thunder legion arc

As I'm sure you're aware Fairy tail has and always will be about the bonds between the members and those we meet throughout the story (even the villains/antagonist). We just met Lyon and Sherry from the Galuna island arc and we've been aware of Jura since Natsu fought Tobi and Yuka in that same arc. I highly recommend making notes for each major characters and who they interacted or had a past with. I know it's really hard to remember characters when watching multiple shows. Fairy tail should be known for it's foreshadowing/ build up, but as you know it gets overshadowed by the hate it gets. In my opinion it's way better than Aot's

The man Ultear was talking to was't Jose from Phantom lord but someone entirely. (A MAJOR player in the endgame story and one of the best arcs this series has to offer)

Fairy tail 100 year quest is a continuation to the story that takes place after the last episode of the current run. We recently got news/ interview from Hiro Mashima(the creator of the series) that it shouldn't have been announced so soon but there is an anime coming out in the work.(My hope late 2023). Hopefully we get a good studio, the last 50 episode of the aforementioned "final season" (we divided the series due to the breaks for movies or change in studio 2009, 2014 and final/2018) got great designs and colours but the movement/fluidity of some of the fights were of low quality compared to the 2014 series which got the saturation toned down because of the darker portion of the story, hence the complaints, but those are merely personal opinions. Going back to the 100 years quest you will be hearing about it soon so look out for that in the introduction of the next arc and never again till the final episode that is out but should be kept in the back of your mind.
