Diamante is the Flag human, he can make anything ripple and flow like a flag. He can't turn anything into steel, but he can make a steel sheet flow and ripple like a flag then being able to reshape the steel and lock it back into place

Yes a do watch until de end. For me, those comment are the most important. Just to know what you think. What i think is the more hard to me, is wathcing to week to week. It been 18 years for of watching it week to week. I love it all, but this is true for me, I have some time the thinking of, why those episode are so short, and then i think about my dauthers, and said to myself, Oda has the right to have some break. Yes would I love to have been able to watch it all in one go. Yes, but this is a long adventure. About 24 years of adventure for Oda and they might be 4 to 5 years left if Oda do not take some other road, this is is creation, and im proud to be part of it by following it..

Trebol pretty much pushed Doffy to become even worse than he was. Was he a terrible, no-good kid? Yeah, kinda. He'd been spoiled from a young age, told he was above all and every - considered a god and taught to think of himself as such. Of course he was going to have a lot of trouble adjusting to being a lowly human again - it's normal. Do I think he was a being of pure evil? No, he is what the circumstances made him. Rosi is an unreliable and biased source when it comes to his brother in this regard, at least. We've seen that Doffy can and does care for people, but he's also been raised by sociopaths so... kid never had a chance. I think, if his father had hidden that they were ex-Celestial Dragons and lived as normal people for a few years, Doffy would have grown to at least acclimatise to being a regular human. If he'd had the chance to learn to like living like a normal person - to see the freedoms of living normally and the small joys of such, his and Rosi's life would have been very different. Alas, while his father had a good idea, he was lacking in common sense - which, understandable, considering he, too, had be born into that world of no consequences. He had a good heart but couldn't forsee how the actions of all the CDs would culminate in hatred towards himself and his family. A lick more sense and they might all have survived to live decent lives. And there-in lies one of the many tragedies in this particular backstory. The Government ruins lives.

Fun fact - Dellinger is half-human, half-fishman. He was found as a baby by Giolla and was raised in the Doflamingo family.

Justifying Doflamingo's actions for his circumstances is pretty crazy considering it's all this arc is about: the fact that you have a choice. Doflamingo constantly tries to explain everything with terms like "the quality" or "the live I've lived", to the point he liked Law exactly for that. Yet Law, Rosinante and the people of Dressrosa didn't become insanely hateful against the world like him.

inpax

TL;DR Doflamingo had a chance. Saying otherwise is being gaslighted by him

Nanach

They need to make a One Piece movie about Corazon and Law.

"I can watch more tomorrow I guess". I hope you did dude, I hope you did!

I think boiling it all down to "he had a chance" is silly when you look at the chances that he had in comparison to the others. Let's take Rosi and Law's examples to explain this a bit more. Law was probably about the same age as Doffy when he was given his chance and his circumstances were pretty dire. If he hadn't been dying on top of his trauma, if he hadn't been taken by Rosi for that last year, he would have turned out much like Doffy because he was already on the path of hating all and everything around him. He wanted to destroy everything - much a reflection of Doffy's own feelings at that age when he lost everything he knew and cared about. Without Rosi, would he have turned out half as decent as he is (also consider, he IS a pirate who HAS killed a lot of people before). Then we look at Rosi. He came from the same place as Doffy, however he was the younger sibling - the one who had been sheltered. He didn't lose as much of his 'world' mentally because he didn't understand as much of the 'world' he came from - hadn't been integrated as much into the culture of being a CD as Doffy had. On top of that, he was taken in by a decent man, raised by him to be a decent person. Compare Doffy who understood what had been taken from him by their father leaving Mariejois, understood more of what it meant to lose all of that and how their fathers' actions left them bereft in a world of uncaring, who then got taken in by a malicious man who taught him to hate - and this was before he even killed his father, he was pushed to it by said man... Yeah, there were different chances presented to these children. I'm not saying he wouldn't have ended up, without Trebol or others' pushing, becoming a spoiled, rotten person. He had the makings in his general character after losing EVERYTHING, but I am saying that Trebol's existence didn't help and neither did his father's choices. I am saying that if he'd managed to live a normal life with his father being a bit more sensible about what he said and did, if he'd managed to live with his mother, father and brother as normal people without vilification of his heritage, if he'd never met Trebol, if... then he may have turned out okay. Even if he was a spoiled little brat when he first came down from 'heaven', he could have ended up a decent guy had things gone differently and had certain people not found him and twisted him even more than he had been by the events that unfolded. It really just goes to show how the choices made for and around us at a young age can set us up for failure or success.

Hermes The Greek

Again, spoiling is not cool. He missed it so it's better for him to find out later.

Zach Waterhouse

He won't remember this minor detail later.... It isn't a spoiler if its something they are blatantly showing.
