YES. AND NOW WE ENTER THE ONE OF THE MOST HYPED ARC. Gonna love your reactions for this one.

The Blind Swordsman with a fondess for gambling! His design is based off of this iconic badass character in Japanese media called Zatoichi. Highly recommend the Zatoichi film series.

Reminder that it's been two years, so Mingo had all that time to have his underlings locate it. It's still a testament to how deep his underground worldwide network goes.

Swegkingu

I'm so happy i subscribed to this channel way back when you were early in the series and get to watch through all of this again with you, lol, I often rewatch the most emotional parts of the anime but just chilling and re-watching all of it with you while playing EU4 or some other game is just amazing, and helps fresh up my memory, i still notice shit i missed every other episode. =D

iron pirate76

God, it's good to be back in Dressrosa.

Alicit

I feel most people like dressrosa, they just get super tired of the second half of it, because boy is it LONG, and the last few episodes (even in the manga) definitely feel like they could be shorter. So I fully expect the reactions to have a lot of "I don't see why people don't like this arc" throughout except mayyybe the last few blocks.

Kay M

Bruh if ppl thought Dressrosa was long how are they reacting to Wano I wonder LOL it surpassed Dressrosa as the longest arc a long time ago

Actually there are four potential candidates amongst the Straw Hats who could potentially accept the Flare-Flare fruit from Luffy: Zorro, Sanji, Ussop and Nami. However, the one who would most likely do so (assuming Luffy was able to get it) is Sanji. This is the conclusion that I came to after thinking about the characters themselves. FIrst off Nami would be the least likely to take it because she's not really a fighter and generally takes steps to avoid entering combat when possible. She might take it if Luffy begged her hard enough, or if she thought that the power could keep her safe in the future, but I feel that Luffy would respect her decision and not ask her after the first one or two "no"s. After Nami, Usopp would be the second least likely candidate. While Ace's fruit would give him an edge in his sharp-shooting , with unlimited Firebird Stars as well as the ability to control those shots and put them where he wants them, and his newfound ability to fly would help him in keeping his distance, he would likely have difficulty in keeping his other ammo from igniting. He might be tempted to take it, as he would no longer be the "weakest Straw Hat", but in the end he would likely turn it down. The reason Zorro would likely turn Luffy down if he offered the fruit is largely due to pride. The reason he joined Luffy, going from pirate hunter to pirate, was to become the strongest swordsman in the world. If he was to eat the Flare Flare fruit that would certainly help in that regard, but Zoro would always be questioning if it was the power of the fruit or his own skill that earned him that title. That alone would prompt him to turn Luffy down. That brings us to Sanji. You had reasoned that since Sanji doesn't fight with his hands the fruit wouldn't help him, but just because "Fire Fist" Ace used it in that manner doesn't mean that Sani would have to. A Diable Jamble from Sanji boosted by the Flare Flare fruit would be devastating. Also, he could cook things to perfection without access to a kitchen just by holding a pan in his hands and serving substitute fore the stove, and serving things flambe would be a breeze to him. That makes him the best fit to me. However, before that even becomes a possibility Luffy would have to get the fruit somehow, either by winning it in the tournament or by stealing it from the winner, and with Doflamingo's people serving as the top contestants either one would be a tough goal to reach. P.S. The Colosseum, while not taking up the entirety of the arc, is a large part of why some people don't like Dressrosa more than other arcs, feeling that it dragged it out a bit much. It doesn't help that Dressrosa is larger than most other arcs in terms of episode length (117 episodes, coming in just under Summit War's 132, though Wano is currently at 115 and counting.) It's mainly a matter of pacing, but some of us like it in spite of that.

by far my favorite arc in the whole anime and manga. it feels like torture not being able to binge your reactions to it.

Ahan Shankwalkar

Zoro isn’t sensing the sword. It’s observation haki. I feel like you keep forgetting zoro and Sanji both have haki too.
