As someone who just watched literally every episode of One Piece including unneeded filler, I personally don't think One Pace is necessary. Everyone hates the pacing moving forward which I understand, but without the week to week its honestly fine. Just my opinion. In either case, I will be along for the ride.

In case you didn't notice, Smiley was just a "gas concentration" but it was alive thanks to a akuma no mi. The candy killed him and its akuma no mi "re-appeared" in the closest normal fruit. This shows you what happens when a fruit user dies. In this case, the "user" was Smiley

I wonder that myself every time i watch this episode! WHY IN THE HELL DID YOU STOP RUNNING? What's the point of staring at a gigantic monster that stopped and started growling! Doesn't make an iota of sense!

No One Pace

Markus Andre Midtbø Kjørsvik

I would not recommend OnePace for Dressrosa! I would recommend sitting through the tough pacing, and see how you enjoy it. Most of the pacing issue in Dressrosa comes from 1-3 points in my opinion. 1.Most people I have heard complain about the pacing, also watched it weekly(Just caught up) 2. Some episodes cover only about 1/2 a chapter. 3. Long drawn out scenes of curves, stares etc... I suggest just battling through the poor pacing !!

One Pace I think is worth considering, but last I saw it there were a lot of gaps in it, which could make it kind of herky-jerky, jumping back and forth between versions. It's def not perfect, but the nature of the beast makes that basically impossible, and I think it's a fine effort.

I’M NOT DOING ONE PACE. READ THE POSTS

I’m in Dressrosa right now for my own personal watch. I don’t think it’s that bad right now but I’m only 30 episodes in. I can see how with it being weekly it would be agonizing. But since I can binge it now, I don’t think the pacing is horrible.

Ash Frierson

I like One Pace personally. I just rewatched all of Dressrosa with it and I really enjoyed it. But I respect your decision regardless.

I would like to see you react to OG, normal, regular One Piece. One Pace is made with thought to give us better pacing but because of that, you will reach Wano way faster. As i and my friends always say "The longer, the better". In past, everyone was crying "why it's so slow, bad pacing" now the same people are crying 'cause they have to wait a week for another episode. If pacing that One piece has right now doesn't bother you then you don't need One Pace. I don't need it as well 'cause i like OP pacing. More One Piece? Hell yeah

I think One Pace is more suitable for a re-watch. For a first time reaction you want to watch "the real deal", i guess. Furthermore you will lose time for your reaction. When the paceing is bad, you have time to verbalise your thoughts aaaand that is what we are here for, dont we? Btw. it will cut content time, without a real benefit. But it wont hurt either..... Just my thoughts....

Trevor Barnes

Maybe to make it go by faster, you could possibly do a few more episodes a week 👉👈 Haha probably wont happen though

One Pace is more for people who want to rewatch, there are gaps in it, so I can't recommend it. But with that said, don't be afraid to skip stuff in Dressrosa. They catch up with the manga in Dressrosa so they make everything super slow. They even replay the same flashback over 40 times! Maybe do 4 episodes a video just because so much content will be skipped over, but that's your choice in the end

One G. O A. T. One Dream

The pacing is not that bad, not when you bench watch, so i vote no.

regular one piece is good

Nanach

BTW. Absalom the invisible lion dude rescued Moria with his Invisibility fruit before Doflamingo could kill him in Marineford. In the Manga. One Pace is NOT recommended for first time viewers .

Mra Keung

not confirmed but fan theories. SMILEY was a confirmed DF eater and we understand that when the user dies, the DF seems to transfer to the closest appropriate fruit.

Kiolt

About this DF: "When a Devil Fruit user dies, their ability is revived in another Fruit of the same kind. Instead of growing out of a plant, the fruit simply regenerates into another existing fruit, this was shown when Smiley "died" and the power of the Sala-Sala Fruit, Model: Axolotl was transferred to a nearby apple." Text from wiki (translated from Russian page)

regular one piece is good (at least the first time you watch) so my vote for "NO"

Anonymous

As a first time viewer I don’t recommend, you’ll be glad that your enjoying one piece the way you are now. So I vote no

The pacing can be really annoying when u have to wait 1 week and literally alomost nothing happens,BUT when you watch 3 Episodes at once it should be completly fine, one pace is completly fine for rewatching, but you really enjoy the hole story and lots of mini things are skipped in onepace

Anonymous

if you watch one pace when you catch up youll 100% regret it as someone who has watched and rewatched the show i reccomend continuing the normal method that you are currently doing it will feel dragged out in a couple episodes but i feel that thats just a part of one piece and its not bad enough where one pace is needed plus what i mentioned before.

“Deranged “ is ruff’s favorite word

Watch One Piece they said it's a fun pirate adventure they said it makes you cry over a boat

Anonymous

Nah don't react to One Pace. Just watch it privately after you've watched the normal series

Anonymous

Are the episodes the same in 10$?

Evan Dempsey

The usual complaints of One Piece never seem to bother you, so you’ll be fine without One Pace

Spirxty

My answer will be no. As a viewer and a patreon member, I'm following you because I like seeing you react to One Piece's small details that makes all the difference. Like an other people said, you'll be missing small details with One Pace that you don't want to miss for your first watching + you never seemed bothered with One Piece's anime issues/flaws so you'll be fine without it.

Ghostnotes

Not Shololololo, it's Shirororororo

hamsterdam

as someone who has seen the regular dressrosa and one pace's dressrosa, its soooo much better with one pace. It cuts it down from 110 episodes to 48 episodes... One of the flashbacks in dressrosa gets shown literally 50 times in the anime for no reason.

Audrey Dappen

I will admit that I have never watched One Pace so I am slightly biased. I personally don't think it's necessary. As Spirxty mentioned above, I like seeing you react the the tiny details. While I will admit that Dressrosa did drag stuff out, I dont think it was TOO much. To be more specific, One Pace takes a 110 episode arch and makes it 43 episodes. That's LESS THAN HALF, and while some stuff could have gotten cut from One Piece, that is just WAY too much to cut out in my opinion. Now take this with a grain of salt, as I mentioned earlier I have never watched One Pace so for all I know it could still keep way more than I think, but I think the rate you've been going at works. There's never really been a need to switch so far so it would be a shame to do that now and miss out on over half the arch's content.

Anonymous

I would like to see the original not the one pace version. I loved Dressrosa even though I watched it weekly at the time and in some parts the pacing really was painful but since you watch more than one episode at a time you should be fine.

Anonymous

i would watch you either way but i would love it if you kept with the original episodes

James Merlaut

In regards to the DF you saw... I have a theory I came up with years ago and we still haven't seen anything that confirms or denies anything about it. But my theory is Devil Fruits are born from massive disasters; whenever there's a major disaster, a DF is born that reflects that disaster.

Jared Gomez

i loved dressrosa ark so much even though it was a little dragged out i would like to see the full thing and not one pace.
