YES! Red Hawk! Finally! This is my favorite of Luffy’s attacks! And I’ll admit it’s mostly because Red Hawk is SO much like Ace’s Fire Fist. I like to believe Luffy did this to pay homage to Ace. (Edit: P.S. Ruff, Luffy is able to do that because of friction. He pulls his arm back forward so fast that the heat from the friction causes it to blaze up. Armament protects his arm from getting burnt.)

Can I beg you to make the password not so long? 😂😂 I'm using the app on my phone and I can't copy the pw. And memoriesing the pw with more then 4 digits is really just for youngsters 😂😂 🙏 You awesome to watch 👍

Glad I’m not the only one with this issue lmao. Except I have the problem of remembering the numbers just not the order!

The fact that Hody said "nothing" will never fail to give me chills. Oda has shown so many different perspectives of racism in the arc. There are so many different types of extremes that are being shown such as Fisher Tiger, Otohime, Arlong, Jimbei, and Hordy. It shows that some people want reconciliation, equality, and peace while others only want revenge and retribution regardless if they were affected first hand or not. There are a lot of socially revelent arcs in OP, but FMI so far is the most powerful to me.

Right now the Fish-men are fighting an upwave battle, and maybe it's unfair and make them so angry, but their basic instincts to preserve their child's and everyone else's future could be stronger than their basic instinct for anger.

Damn. Really thought Ruff would have more to say on RedHawk. Why don't we get an outro discussion anymore? Just seems to jump into the next episodes.

Dragon Prince

The best way to explain Red Hawk is that by using Armament Haki and extending his arm, the friction in the air from the return generates enough heat for it to catch on fire

i love it when ruff goes "WHAT DO YOU MEAN!?". gets me everytime lmao

Red Hawk? 10/10!!!

i love how oda decided that rather than make an anime that has cool fights and funny scenes he decided to incorporate real-world problems and such and i know this has been said so many times but still i had to say

Pacing is horrible now :( wanna try One Pace? I know you said no already, but now its really slow. I love there Videos. Longer and better Episodes with way more content and you don't miss anything. Feels more like the anime should be 😊

I saw this episode age ago but i guess it never fully clicked that Robin can teleport anywhere within line of sight lol. On the note of hordy revel. I hated it tbh. But the explanations from Fuka that they were so focused on getting votes/signatures etc. that they knowingly ignored the minority down in Fishman District that were obviously festering hatred. They ignored this danger because they felt their hatred was sort of justified and maybe in a way hiding the darkness they had in their own hearts. They were forcing peace without actually making peace within themselves first.

Children take in the things you don't even realise they do and react and grow from those things. Hearing, over and over, the hate for humans, repeated through their lives, even if it didn't directly affect them, how else are they supposed to think? It's inherited racism and it's very alive in our world today - kids who grow up hearing racist rhetoric and think it's normal and right. They set their morals on these things they hear and when they're older and exposed to the world, they either continue to become the worst kind of assholes you meet, people who hide their racism to fit in or learn better and grow beyond it. The latter are, sadly, not as many as we could hope. It's sad, but Oda touches on something that really isn't explored in media much, let alone children's/teens programs and cartoons. It's very brave of him to do so.
