man, this arc is always the hardest for me to watch. Sanji is pissing me off big time with how much of a creep he is here. this is thriller bark Sanji all over again. And to this day, Oda still writes stuff like this. That's where being a female anime fan becomes hard sometimes.

It's not that bad in the manga. The anime definitely pushes it to the limit though, also keep in mind that the anime has more liberty and it's not really Oda that controls all aspects of the anime. I'm willing to bet it's the publishers pushing him to add it in because of a more younger or teenage audience. Oda has basically been #1 since his debut so I don't know why he would need to add it in since you can see from the beginning Nami and other female characters looked normal.

Btw the "new ability" luffy showed where his arm went black is just armament haki. So every time someone's arm/body part goes black its armament haki

Woo main series one piece! Straw hats are on a different level now. I feel like Oda mirrors the first half of the show and starts off pretty chill but it's still hype... Taking a break to work more but I shall be back to binge eventually <3

can be explained: pre TS Luffy and the crew didn´t know about haki, so we couldn´t see it. But now they know and can see it, so we can aswell...
