Hey fam so those of you who weren’t at today’s JoJo’s Minecraft stream my computer just died 3 times during the stream. Yesterday it happened twice & has happened prior once or twice. I didn’t know what it has been but my computer finally told me when I went to reboot it that it was overheating & that’s why it was shutting down. I bought the pc literally 5 months ago at Best Buy so I need to go there to see what can be done.

I’m backing up files now before it gets worse & I can’t turn it on. I may have to buy a “temp” pc from them while they work on it, fix it, replace parts, whatever it is they have to do.

That being said I (most likely) won’t be able to work on Black Clover/Dr Stone tonight to make sure it gets uploaded to y’all.

Either they’ll be able to let me “return” the pc & swap it for another or they may need to work on it which would mean I would have to buy a temp pc to hold me over while they work on it. Regardless of what has to be done the chances of me having a pc ready with all my files on it & software downloaded to edit by tonight is slim.

I’m about to head there & hopefully can get it resolved right away. I’ll obviously update again if there is an issue but if you want the most up to date updates following my Twitter @RuffSenpai is the best bet.

Thank you for the support, hopefully this gets resolved quickly 🙏

How dare things go wrong. Why can't you be special and everything goes right 100% of the time. Ugh, now I have to doing something meaningful for my life instead of watching your content.😭

All good bro. Take care of your stuff, and don't worry. We will all still be here when you get it figured out. Much love.

I hope they can fix it and I hope it's not too expensive bro

The two most common things that overheat and shut down your pc are the cpu or the gpu could be one of the fans not working, or thermal paste got old and dried up causing cpu overheat and pc shutdown to protect your pc. If it’s the cpu then it’s just a simple heat sink and fan replacement with new thermal paste, but if your gpu fan stopped working that’s a slightly more complex fix requiring either new gpu or a replacement of gpu fan and heat sink assembly. If they are not super busy the actual repair should not take more than a few hours.

what about the early one piece reactions are they included in the delay? lol

Good luck with that! I recently had my mega expensive gaming laptop die on the MSI starting screen so I can relate.

Off all the things I would have taken you for someone who builds his own PC! I hope you'll get this fixed quick for your own sake, can't imagine not having my PC for a few days lmaoo

All my friends that's gotten a new computer in the last year has had problems with overheating. Seems like the industry/market is doing some funky shit and not including the correct cooling with pre-builds

i had the same issue for the past month, couldnt do anything but use google without it crashing. what fixed my overheating issue was getting a new GPU, now it can handle anything i do without over heating. Couldve been the fact I havent CLEANED my pc in a while, or that my GPU has actual working fans now... or both

This is why you don't buy pre-built stuff from casual stores. If you custom build it yourself or with the help of someone who knows what they're doing chances are very high you'll have a PC that'll last you a lifetime with no issues. Unless there's a flaw in parts manufacturing. :D
