I know it has been a while since the last episode so it might be hard to remember but in the end of episode 2 you saw the girl monitoring our tree main guys talking to the head of octobris and he told her not to come there because the war has started. :)

Drifters is fun. Its by the same author who did Hellsing. So theres a lot to unpack if you're into that or don't. It can just be a trashy anime to watch. Not saying its trashy its like... junk food. Bad for you, but fun too.

I know this might sound like ekstra work, but you should google the names of the drifters and ends in this show, I think all of them are real live people from the history books :D I felt it was worthwhile to do so when I watched it.

Yeah that's what I mean. If you want to look into it more every person is isekai'd into this fantasy setting. Every one of them is plucked when they die and dropped into this world at around the same time. Doesn't matter if you died 1000 years ago, 800 years, or 600 years, Or 20. They're all placed in this world for some reason.

In my opinion while watching Drifters it makes a lot of sense to do a quick google search about the characters/Drifters who get introduced with their name. You're not really spoiling yourself with that too. They all have some type of historic influence or impact and it makes the anime a little more interesting when you know who those crazy people actually were. I don't really want to tell you how to watch an anime and that would also double the editing process, but feel free to just pause and take 2 minutes to read up on the names whenever they first appear. Some of those jokes and puns just fly over your head when you don't know what their history is.
