If you end up liking this series be sure to read the manga afterwards. The anime ends about 60%ish through the story. You could start at the point you left off and catch up in like 50 chapters.

watch the future diaries too if you like fucked up shit lol

this is such a pleasant surprise, I really hope you'll like it man. it's still one of my all-time favorites. also best opening.

I forgot how gloriously gory this show was. I mean, I did remember it being hella gory, but my memory did not do it justice. And this after seeing the season finale of Invincible. XD Omg and I also completely forgot about cute little Nyu. :3

JsnSkg

Oh man, I'm surprised those two couldn't identify the "I need to pee so bad" dance Nyu was doing. XD

wonder777warrior

i really enjoyed your reaction to this

Before other people start buggin, its pronounced Elfen “Leed”, Lied is German for song, I.e Elven Song

for pronounciation, "leed" is a better example since "lead" can be read in two ways

timer reactions basicly only show the timer of the episode and the reaction. so people can sync theyr episode with your timer.

This show is very good - just be prepared for more gore, darkness, and horror.

Elfen Lied was one of my first anime I watched in sub and is still one of my favourites. You put out a lot of my favs this time......Hellsing, Future Diary, Elfen Lied......all are really good and you should watch them.....Elfen Lied is probably the best one though.....Please finish it on patreon at least if you can't figure out the timer thingy on yt.

Didn't see this reaction coming, love this series. Not really youtube friendly, but hope you keep going. ^^

Vincent

I love Elfen Lied, My favorite Anime and one of the only shows I've watched more then 5 times at the very less.

timer reactions are often done by the editors, they set the timer so when you watch the episode, till it ends at least from what ive seen

Very nice vidd!!!! Also you said that in the video you heard only good thingd about black clover and i think thats right but there will be some episodes until ep63 where sometimes the animation is not good:/ but later the animation will be fireee

Elfen Lied is very sentimental for a lot of folks who were anime fans back in the mid 2000s, for a lot of us it was our first edgy seinen. I recently rewatched it, and I couldn't help but feel like the series sometimes cut itself on it's own edge. That opening theme is still as gorgeous as it was when I first heard it all those years ago though.

yahhoo nostalgia trip for me.This is one of the first anime i have ever watched after i wake up to anime. What a weird way to start my journey in anime with such a brutal anime,i know.I read the manga and its even more brutal.Too bad that they never finished the story and its only 12 ep.

Kevin

he thought it'd be about elves and fairies XDXDXD good one :D I wonder if this show aged well. Has been so many years since I saw it and I was only a teen back then

Came for the first 10 minutes, was not disappointed.

So, the way I do it is I run two instances of OBS (done by adding -multi to the shortcut). In the first instance I have a scene with face cam and microphone, making sure to mute system sound, start recording and do intro and chat and so on, then I start recording on the second instance of OBS where I use a scene with screen capture and make sure to NOT mute system sound and then I do a countdown to sync it, like "starting episode in 3,2,1 GO" and hit play on the video, that way I see on the screen recording when I hit the play button because there's usually on-screen feedback for when you do it. That means you got two separate recordings and it's fine to pause the video like you do as the pause is preserved in both video files (the file with you and mic and the file with the show/movie), you just have to sync them up once. Two separate recordings lets you remove the video completely if you want and for a timer you just add a timer. I use filmora so I have no built in tools for a timer so I just recorded a couple of hours of a stopwatch I found online and import, crop and resize that and you can run completely timer-based by just removing the video of the show from your editing timeline or hiding it, I dunno what your workflow looks like. I'm sure there's many other ways of doing it but that works for me.

This series man... There are parts of it that I love and parts of it I want to expunge from the surface of this earth, preferably by fire.
