Damn. I cried again. Whenever Brook's story pulls up, I'm wailing like a baby. I really love this set of three episodes, as you said, it was emotional rollercoaster. Truly amazing and I swear Ruff, you are right, the amount of love and care we fans who are caught up have for these characters is imeasurable, or at least for me, I have grown so attached to them that just thinking about one piece ending one day is breaking my heart. Anyway, Let's get to the next arc! Let the new adventure begin!

The next arc is arguably the best arc in one piece aside from wano. Its even better than ennies lobby imo. Cant wait cuz the amount of hype moments in the next arc is just outrageous.

People keep hyping the next arc, but to be clear I think most of them are likely referring to the next saga as a whole that is made of about 5 amazing arcs, together made of about 122 episodes not counting filler.

The next saga is definitely better and more hype than the Water 7 + Enies Lobby saga imo. That next saga and Wano are some of the best arcs in the series

Reminder that Luffy doesn't know that Ace is in Impel Down. Think of all the times Luffy's scraped by barely alive, like in Alabasta. If Luffy had a vivre card, it would have been embers too, when Crocodile impaled him on his hook and tossed him into the quicksand pit. That's what it means to be a pirate, putting your life on the line and scraping by. Plus Ace is stronger, Luffy knows this better than anyone. That's why Ace will be all right.

You should check out the English dub of Binks' Brew. I feel like they did a really good job with it. Ian Sinclair as Brook is probably my favorite casting in the entire dub. He absolutely nails the role and his singing voice is great as well.

Oda set up at least two subtle symbols on some persons clothes or accessories in the first 20 or so episodes that really hasn't had any significance for hundreds of episodes, one of them just recently, 900 episodes later. It really seems Oda keeps his shit together:)

Oh yeah, you should absolutely read from the beginning, as much as I love the early anime adaption, there are some unforgettable panels in it (crying Nami comes to mind)

One of the many reasons why I love OP so much is that it not just makes us laugh,cry and being awestruck. There are so many occasions it puts that silent but deeply heartfelt smile on our faces. Just look at Ruff when it hits him :) I think I enjoy this the most while watching reactions <3

Hey Ruff, I would HIGHLY recommend if you are going to cover another One Piece movie you should do Strong World next. Right after Brook joining is the PERFECT time to watch this movie. You're going to have sticklers tell you that "No, you have to watch this movie at XXX point in the anime" and the only reason they're saying that is because a character from the movie gets name dropped in the manga. Honestly for the sake of continuity you are better off watching it around this point. I really really recommend you watch it soon. Like before you hit the next arc.

I love how throughout this whole arc, Robin has just been for whatever Luffy wants to do.
