for the manga thing you talked about in the beginning. Maybe wait for the dark continent arc to be finished at least and then read that one, really worth it. I'm loving the manga so far but yeah having to wait for the next chapter to drop is a pain in the butt

Also yes, Pitou and Youpi did change. However, you got to keep in mid that their primary objective is to defend the king. Why did she kill Kite? Because he was getting too close to the nest. Yes she did do a lot of shit after but now you can see that she is changing. The king as you can see also changed.

I think Ikalgo realised that when he told the truth the bugs stopped hurting him. Gyro was the guy who they showed the sad backstory for with the abusive father and welfin was his friend because they both had abusive parents. Ikalgo not wanting to kill people and the fact that nen powers dont go away after death make this scene so powerful imo. Togashi wrote a scene where two really fictional characters were forced to have a real deep talk despite all the bs because deep down they're good people. I get why people hate on it cause it takes away time from the dope action but this shit is also fire

I'm a huge HxH fan, so that's why it hurts for me to say, that I honestly recommend you to not read the manga, since it will never finish anyway. It is sooo unsatisfying to be teased and introduced to an arc and storyline that seems so amazing, just to accept that it will never reach a conclusion. I recommend watching the anime and accept that as your "canon ending"

And yes at the LEAST try the manga to see if you would enjoy it or not. Its hype. Most of these new "hxh fans" saying don't read the manga are 2011 fans ONLY and do not care about the source material.

The anime has a very satisfying conclusion imo so I would say avoid the manga unless you are absolutely desperate for more HxH. I started reading ahead not long after the anime finished airing because I felt like I could manage the constant hiatuses. I still feel that way about hiatuses, but I still regret reading ahead because the current hiatus is the longest one so far and I'm starting to worry that we might never see a conclusion. It's up to you in the end. I'd love to see you react to the manga but I can understand if you don't want to read it.

If you look carefully you might have noticed there is some buddhist imagenery going on with Netero. A bodhisattva is a person who is on the process of attaining enlightenment AKA buddhahood. It is specifically not a buddha yet. Netero is summoning a nen statue of the guanyin bodhisatta, who is most associated with compassion and is depicted either male or female. In the flashback scene where Netero showed his puch, The headteacher started crying and mentioned "lady guanyin". Understanding the buddhist themes at play really helps understand the scenes with Netero.

There was a time where HxH was released WEEKLY.. That long ass wait between episodes was gruesome, but we survived, its not the end of the world, and ive been watching HxH reactors since 2017, the passion for this show for me only increased. Ruff, youll be fine with however much you want to post.

Read the manga if you like after the anime story on your own risk. Cause i have very high doubts it will ever be finished. I honestly think he should have ended where the anime ends. Not even blaming Togashi for it. He worked himself half to death.

It's not about whether he would enjoy the manga or not, I have every faith that he would because the current arc is absolutely fantastic, it's about wanting to have a satisfying conclusion to the story, and the anime does that very well. At least with something like One Piece you know that Oda is putting out chapters regularly and the story will eventually end, but I'm starting to lose faith in Togashi finishing the current arc, let alone the entire story that he wants to tell. If Ruff is fine with that, then I'd love for him to read it, but if he's not, it makes sense to leave the series at a good stopping point.

Even the manga may never end, the stories and fights are absolutely worth reading. For me personally, I appreciate everything the mangaka gave me and I don't care if there's a 'proper ending' or not. To be honest, maybe it is better for hxh to not have an ending. The world and stories are so fascinating that they can keep going on forever. There is also some stuff you asked for in previous anime episodes that had been resolved in the manga. Ending or not, I would suggest enjoying the road without pressure. It is your call!

Annoying 2011 fans who always make the hxh community look bad regularly talk trash about the manga. Most of these "fans" started with the 2011 anime so they are only saying don't read because they don't really care about the story as a whole just the Madhouse version. They're the ones that get memed and made fun of. We have something like Berserk where a similar issue is happening but there isn't an anime akin to a >>2011<< like version so their community wants everyone to experience what the AUTHOR not a studio has put his pain and hard work on paper good or bad. If you decide not to do it I would recommend reading chapters 351-357 for an amazing fight.

my position on this is: if people don't have "completeness" issues, by all means, do read the manga. Otherwise it is just not healthy. Missing out on content you never knew in the first place is way better than have just a hint and then being denied the rest.

killing a nen user actually has the possibility of his nen getting stronger after death. Like a death curse or something so it is actually never a solution to kill the nen user to get rid of an ability. it may or may not have been covered with the bomber. Only nen removers can help.
