The manga is fantastic, it's right up your alley. The anime is faithful to the manga, but the manga isn't done yet. I haven't read it in a while, but I bet it's still great.

I FRIKEN love Drifters. Though i think it's more enjoyable if you're a history nerd. Since it's mostly based on historical figures becoming drifters. It's filled with awesome characters and a pretty interesting plot. Also filled with action. Idk if you've watched FATE but the premise is basically similar. I recommend you keep watching this one since there's only like 12 episodes i believe. Also Yoichi is a man.

OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!! I'm screaming. Whoever recommended this was an angel. It can be confusing with the history stuff. I needed to google some ofthe names when I watched it. But the characters are well designed and it has it's own unique story. I enjoyed it a LOT

Aaaye, this is one of my favorite anime. Its sad that its so unknown to a lot of people. Hope the reactions to this anime continue, its definately a really hype anime with many great scenes.

Oh drifters that's pretty unexpected but I can also promise, that it will never win in the polls eventough it's pretty damn cool. I really liked this series at the beginning I was like meh but by the end of it I really wanted a second season and it has a weird but special place in my heart honestly, still there are plenty of other shows u "should" watch first.

I am glad you liked the episode! And As some people has commented. In a pole it will not win against other bigger animes unfortunately. But I remember you said you could continue to request episodes in ter 5 so maybe I should just continue to request episodes on this one. I have one other series I wish you to react to so I might switch between them. :)

until you watch/read a certain amount of anime/manga most people don't know the deep history of other countries like Japan. especially here in the US where mostly the only things we are taught in school are the interactions of Japan and the US in the World Wars
