Not a LN/WN reader and idk if this is a bit of a spoiler but apparently this isn't what the ending of the arc is supposed to be. Even if we don't get another season for a while we might get an ova adapting the end of the arc. Not really confirmed but it gives me hope for more content before next season.

When Beatrice said "You're Roswaal?" she was saying it in the sense that she didnt know that the Roswaal in front of her was the same Roswaal of 400 years ago. She thought that this whole time all of the descendants of Roswaal have just been his relatives who she didnt know. She didnt know this whole time that it was the same original Roswaal of 400 years ago on the inside. She thought the original Roswaal just grew old and died leaving his descendants behind with her to watch the library for her for centuries. She wasnt aware that Roswaal had researched and completed a technique that would allow him to transfer his soul from descendant to descendant so that his soul could keep living forever by switching from body to body each generation and Ryuzu is not actually Garfiel's grandmother she just said that cuz she raised Garfiel like a parent and loves him as if he were her grandson. You could say he's like her adopted grandson. Since Garfiel never wanted to leave the Sanctuary and didnt have any parents he grew to love Ryuzu like a grandmother. also as for the color scheme of the episode titles thats just so you know which parts of the japanese title below it match with the translation. Like for instance the "S" in "Steps" was colored orange to match the Japanese equivalent for "S", "ス(su)" in "ステップ (suteppu)" which is just the english word "step" written and pronounced with a Japanese accent. It's just so you know where in the Japanese phrase those words are actually located cuz japanese sentence and phrase grammar works kinda backwards compared to english.

the last scene is only like 1 minute long btw and its not even major cliffhanger or anything like that, i think just better to end it off like this and put last 1 minute scene somewhere else and even so it doesn't even fit in next like 3+ arcs

First of all, thank you for bringing us these videos. Was fun to rewatch it with you. In case you wanna read ahead: In the LN, Volume 15 is the ending of S2. Chapter 8 is the rabbit fight. You should start there to get some additional information about Subaru's contract with Beatrice and why you shouldn't expect him to be op strong with her in the future as well as a cliffhanger scene which got cut. For the WN Arc 4, Chapter 130 is the rabbit fight. The knighthood ceremony is a chapter in the Interlude after Arc 4. Witchculttranslation is one possible page for reading the WN. Anime is LN based but the english translation is waaaay behind. I think Volume 16 releases this summer, so only the beginning of the next arc while the japanese version is at Volume 26 (arc 7). WN and LN have some slight differences but nothing big and story changing so I recommend reading the WN and then watch a "differences between LN/WN" kinda video on YT if you can't wait. The WN generally has new chapters first and they get translated pretty soon. The WN is also free and provided by the author himself, so it is no piracy or sth Sorry for text wall, hope this helps. i wouldnt say the last scene is needed cliffhanger considering that scene doesn't even matter for next 3+ arcs and can still see them having to jam pack this entire chapter into 1 episode so ya ending scene literally doesn't matter its just...oh that happen alright, and WN/LN does have some bit changes like he stopped making emilia not proactive compare to LN alot of things he changes

Well it might not be that important for the following arc but it is still a cliffhanger and I am just saying there is one and some additional information. How important those are everyone can decide for themselves but to do that you need to read those parts first. I agree that there are differences between LN and WN, still they do not really change the overall story and by reading WN and then looking up the major changes made in the LN you will be on the same page with LN readers for 99% of the time. But this is also subject to taste

I love how you said this isn't love story but this story IS love story between these two it was at ending of season 1 title that...this all this story is about, just a dark fantasy love story...with a lot of mental shit

If you do decide to read the light novels, I recommend starting at the beginning since they had to drop some content from the anime for time, especially in season one. (with the possi Le exception of book 1)

i think its crazy you should say that this season wrapped up perfectly and that it was a good season, because compared to the web novel i think its horrible, or mabyr not horrible, but at most mideocre
