HOPELESSNESS & DESPAIR. That’s what i saw another reactor describe the Chimera Ant Arc. It’s a dark ass arc, not so much for its gore, but for the heavy feeing of sadness and hopelessness one feels through so many episodes. I actually had to take a break my first watch-through because of how heavy it was, to the point i was kinda relieved when i finished watching it. i was so desperate to go back to the happy-go-lucky side of HxH for even just a brief moment lmao

Manga isn't done, it's been two years since the last chapter (Clash Part 1, the beginning of a fight), and now you're experiencing the extistential dread we hxh fans have to deal with about whether the series will ever actually end or not.

Regarding robot parts. That's a hard yes for me. I hope artificial parts are a thing and that I can afford them in my lifetime. If nothing else, at least a liver lol. The whole concept of surpassing humanity is very fascinating. Better eyes, arms and legs. Or perhaps some sort of chemically/genetically enhanced humanity. Not sure how all that would end but it sure would be an interesting experience.

It's Kite, Gon pronounces it "Kaito" because of how Japanese works (they don't have just a "t" sound, there's only "ta," "te," and "to")

I will say this Ruff I believe the anime leaves off at a good point. If you start to read the manga I warn you that you are going to hate all of the hiatuses it has. This manga has a nickname it is Hiatus X Hiatus.

the ting with HxH is that the manga is in hiatus. There is not much content to adapt. THe manga is not that far ahead of the anime, and its been more then 2 years since last volume was published, and even then it had months of gap between each volume. Aparentely Togashi has a illness and he could die. the rumors of HxH return go around since forever so i think this is just another one. We dont know if the manga is ever coming back. So even if you read the manga you'll still have to wait. The anime DO has an ending. It closes pretty well, but the story is not finished. As far as i assume, the manga just stops out of nowhere lol.

WELP... gud shit... I caught up to ur HxH reaction in like 4 days... and I'd be lying if i said this was the first HxH reaction series I've done that with X'D It's just so damn bingable and there's plenty of little details to think about every time. This arc is gonna take a while to get through so just enjoy the character development and spoopy vibes... and yeah might wanna get something ready to smash when the anime runs out of eps. I like the ending a lot but the manga continues perfectly until it stops cause Togashi has had back injuries ect. hiatus x hiatus hurts us all p.s idk about solo leveling but this series inspired so many stories and Naruto is basically HxH for kids... Sasuke is literally Kurapika with the eye powers and dead clan and the power system is just a less nerdy version of nen. Sorry for mega comment just thought id do one when i caught up... dope reactions g

oh also, Kite is a non japanese name but the japanese alphebet is phonetic and, besides N/M, never ends in a consonant. so when a Japanese person tries to say the name ending phonetically in T they cant help but add the vowel that is closest cause thats how they spell it... the more u know
