IMO the point of no return for Haikyu is episode 10 if you really like it, or episode 13 if you're ambivalent.

I NEVER thought I’d see they day when you’d watch haikyuu! I’d say the episode that got me hooked was episode 7. The great thing about this show is really the characters, there’s so many vastly different characters in this show that the fans all latch onto. I can’t pinpoint a “favorite” fan character in the show because they are all very well liked. I hope you stick to the show a little longer but if not it’s honestly understandable, this show isn’t for everyone

just somethig abt the haikyuu dub, it has a lot of mistranslations so i def wouldnt suggest it. its funny but in a bad way

Just subscribe to patreon only for Haikyu ! X) It has a slow start but it got me hooked in episodes 7-10 i would say ^^ Season 2 is great, Season 3 is just fire and season 4 is awesome. It became one of my favorites while i normally don't like sports anime x) I think that people like it because it's a character driven show, not just about the sport. Hope you'll stick with it ! =)

Great reaction :) As other people said, Haikyuu's selling points are the characters! I love how the mangaka handled their roles in the team and their relationshIps! As for the Naruto debate, I started watching Naruto back in the day with One Piece and Bleach at the same time! It was my favorite anime out of the three! I was watching OP just for fun at the time! But then in Shippuden, it quickly went downhill for me and OP started picking up with Ao Kiji showing up and feeling that Luffy and the strawhats are just weak little pirates in that world + the Water Seven arc and the end of Enies Lobby was FIRE for me! I think the main reason OP is waaay better than Naruto is that you can feel the foreshadowing and the fact that everything is connected in OP whereas Naruto didn't flesh out the characters much (especially the girls like Sakura for example) and completely butchered the ending for me! Bottom line: If you love Naruto and hate OP, you just love flashy fights without substance in a manga and if you love OP more than Naruto, the story and plotline and characters are way more important for you! ... But that's just my opinion :)

I'm glad we were able to make you give Haikyuu a shot! The characters in it are all so great, even on rival teams later on down the road. Looking forward to hopefully seeing some more volleyball reactions from you! Also just in case no one explained in stream, Karasuno (the name of the high school) translates to crows!

I have played Volleyball for years, but this anime did not attract me as much as Kuroko no Basket did which is a Basketball anime. Yes I also played Basketball for a few years. I hated tennis, but after watching Prince of Tennis I became a fan of it and actually understood all the rules and terms/slang used.

I came for hxh but if you react to more haikyuu it would be a blessing. Haikyuu its a character driven series, any fan would tell you, its about volley but we would watch those character doing their damn chores and buying groseries for a whole 12 chapters with no problem. They are just that good.

I really love this anime so I hope you'll want to continue it. It became my top anime series, and I wasn't even the slightest into Volleyball before watching this, it's that good :D

I really hope to see you continue Haikyuu when you have time. It has a massive and rabid fanbase that will flock to watch you watch it guaranteed. It’s had huge critical success because it’s a character driven story, which isn’t ‘quite’ as common as you’d think in sports anime, it really makes you attached to them and end up loving the sport of volleyball just because of how much it means to the characters themselves. I genuinely think you’d love this series just as much as the rest of us if you end up continue watching it.

I love Hinata. I love all the characters. I love the openings and the endings. Spyair and Burnout Syndromes have become some of my favorite j-rock bands. Also, the opening to Dr. Stone, Good Morning World, is also by Burnout Syndromes. It’s the perfect morning Alarm :)p
