TOEI STRUCK AGAIN (Patreon)

Toei struck again everyone. For whatever reason they keep targeting me, not sure why but all of the one piece videos were deleted from the main channel as now 2 strikes are there. They will be uploaded to the back up channel (YouTube.com/ruffsenpaivods). The newest video will be up within the hour and I’ll be working on the rest over the coming days/weeks.


As for Patreon nothing will be changing I just wanted to make sure you all were aware of the situation and that you won’t be affected. Thank you for understanding 🙏

I actually wanted to mention that there was a whole freak out on Twitter over Shueisha copyright striking accounts over the weekend. ANYONE posting One Piece or Dragonball content got their accounts locked. At first, folks thought it was due to Japan's new copyright laws which came into affect this year BUT it was actually a hoax by someone pretending to be the company. Still post One Piece's recent manga chapter I have seen an uptick in a lot of One Piece content creators on YouTube running into copyright strike issues. Let's just say that usually when the series has big things going on the rights holders get a little trigger happy (Funimation did this during one of the pre-time skip arcs although they took it no further than issues C+Ds).

Maybe it's because the youtube bot can still detect it?? Usually people have to blur the shit out of the boxed video to be able to go around the bot??

That's too bad man! Sorry to hear that :/ like Ochan said just after chapter 1000 came out last week, Shueisha got reaaally strict about One Piece and even targeted an editor working with Oda! It's insane! Good luck anyway and I hope you won't be too affected in the future! Keep up the good work!

No strikes are manual. That’s why it’s so annoying, they can manually claim too and block the video if they want. Some people just strike

That sucks. Sorry you’re getting hit again. I wonder if you’ll have to start naming the videos “OP” instead of “One Piece” like a few other content creators have had to. Hurts the search function, but gives you a slight out. Appreciate the update.
