These episodes were really dense so lots of little things easily missed. The Troupe actually stole ALL the merchandise. They show Kortopi copying some of the items. He actually copied all of the items and they let the fakes be auctioned off.

The Yorknew arc is easily favorite, followed by the Greed Island arc! Can't wait for you to get through to it.

Personally the yorknew arc has some of the best pacing in all of anime. The pacing alone makes it a top tier arc. The chimera Arc howevers, has the better writting and plot, which took hxh from being a great anime, to being a god tier anime. My only critique of the chimera arc, is just how dark it is. Some times it becomes too dark and too “heavy” that i couldnt binge watch it then or even now from how draining it can be mentally. Its fucking nuts tho, in a good way

Honestly I think York New is darker in a lot of places, mainly because it's more grounded. Chimera Ant arc is dark as fuck don't get me wrong.

Chlollo has some really hard conditions that he needs to clear to steal a power, they were explained in the manga but not the anime: * He has to ask a question to his target about their power and they need to answer him. * He needs to see the power being used. * His target needs to touch the handprint on the cover of Bandit's Secret (the book that stores his powers). * All of these conditions need to be fulfilled within one hour.

Ruff, you should absolutely read the 0 volume chapters of HxH. They give Kurapika's backstory during his time in the Kurta clan and absolutely make his hatred against the troupe seem even more justified. It's only two chapters. Maybe read the actual first chapter of the manga too cause they cut some important stuff in the anime. I'd say if you choose to read those three chapters, do so before episode 76 when the stuff cut from the first chapter becomes relevant.

About your question at around 1:10:05 Killua did tell Gon about what he realized, that Kurapika is the chain user who killed Uvo. But it was never discussed how Pakunoda’s power works. So Gon’s question is legitimate because he hadn’t really worked out Killua’s concerns. Killua was having an inner monologue when he deduced Pakunoda’s ability the first time.

I did see him reply to one early one but seems it was critical and haven’t seen a response since? I’m so far behind right now but does Ruff become a Narrator detractor. Seems like that would be his best friend since he forgets stuff so easily. I ask because so many people bring that up as the downfall of the arc and it never bothered me.

A Naruto villain? U mean that chode in the Land of Waves? I always wondered why I had a negative impression of Naruto. If it’s that u just watched that first arc they that would make so much sense. If I watched that arc only I would have a low impression of the series. Actually, even through the chunin arc I still probably wouldn’t gotten hooked on it. They open th world up so much after that in original Naruto. Then try to slightly grow up with their audience for NS. I loved the middle section of NS and even the final wasn’t as big a letdown as most say especially since doing a no filler Naruto Kai type run through of it. Just always wondered where u became a Naruto detractor. I saw ur video where u reacted to the openings and u said some strange stuff. U said the openings didn’t match what was happening in the show without even watching it so that always struck me as odd.(especially since Naruto’s openings are pretty universally well received as one of the tops for long running shonens) It’s so interesting to me personally though because before I watched it I was the biggest Naruto hater out there but after giving it a fair shot it’s actually pretty decent. So intriguing...

My favorite Ruffism of this session wasn’t that though it was when he gave the eyes and u said they didnt want them. Man they’re were just shown making copies. Like I always say though never change, this is so entertaining. It’s like ur Nen ability or something.
