Reading the first volume before episode 70-ish would be good for bonus world building. They skipped a character's introduction which made the interaction feel rushed. Also i think i mentioned it in discord, but each arc feels like a brand new show~

While "anime" could explain the falcon sending messages, carrier pigeons and other animals were how we passed critical messages during war. It's not easy to train them, but still. As for Kurapika's reasoning, he filled us in during the first test of the Hunter exam.

You’ve mention living in huge ass mansion houses a couple times and it is rough that first year but is super fun having people over after a while and just letting them get lost. Also no flex or anything my family is wealthy, not me so I literally did nothing to earn that comfort. If anything it’s been a negative for me personally and made me super apathetic and just a overall lazy person.
