Ruff here is the deal, that you missed. DF split into 3 cathergories, Logia - Elemental Powers like Croc and Enel (the by t give intangibility). Zoan's - Animals like Chopper or Pierre, or The Guardians in alabasta. Last cathergory is Paramieca, ones that don't fit the firs two cathergories. About the Sea Prison, it was already showed, Smokers tip of Jite is made from it, and so was the cage they were stuck in Crocodile's base, and nets they used in Buggy and Alvida. In essence they weaken the df user and block the use of their power.

always remember that skypiea is super isolated so they have very limited knowledge about blue sea stuff and call stuff from down there different things in the sky. its happens from time to time in isolated areas currency is best way to identify them.

we've seen sea prism stone before in alabasta. The cage crocodile had the strawhats and smoker in was made from it. EDIT: also the tip of smoker's weapon.

Friendly reminder that Smoker was untouchable for Luffy and still is. Crocodile too if not for his water weakness. This is what they call Logia. Enel just happens to have one of the most, if not the most, naturally offensive power on top of being intangible.
