I never noticed until now. She "wished" to see Eren, and when an infection made them move to the city, she felt guilty. I think her "wish" disbanded the Corps, to keep Eren safe. I think the butterfly and Mirror Man are Mikasa's subconscious. The dream world was a split second that inspired her in season 1. Also, the hot air balloon was why Armin's parents got killed by the Military Police in the canon timeline, according to that guy they tortured back then. So many parallels, it's so trippy.

Wow, balloon and Armin's parents, I didn't think about that, cool. I think this OVA is the deepest and most important, as far as I know Mikasa is the first character who came up with a mangaka after coming up with lore. Also, the ending theme of this ova is dedicated to Mikasa and Eren, it begins with the fall of a 9-pointed star to Earth many millions of years ago (since Mount Olympus on Mars is still erupting), then we see Mikasa in a strange desert with a knife and opposite her another girl who is preparing to retreat back (this is also hinted at by a stream of bubbles that moves in the face of Mikase and in the back of the girl). I think Mikasa is the future Ymir, she will take her place, driving her away (maybe killing her) and form the reality in which Eren survives. Аlso when Mikasa runs away in the forest, you can see that in the reflection in the water there is a girl in white and with white hair.
