Lack of Uploads (Patreon)

Hey everyone wanted to make a post because this seems to be coming up once every few days.


I set up a poll that received over 180+ votes and 160+ of those votes wanted videos to be uploaded in bulk when they are done instead of being scheduled out and forcing you all to wait for videos but being on more of a schedule.


The patreon for One Piece is currently 5 episodes ahead of YouTube and JoJo’s is currently 6 episodes ahead of YouTube. I made a point to record and edit as much as I could to hold you all over for this weekend that I knew I’d have my daughter for an extended period of time. This being because I knew I would not be able to spend 8 hours recording daily like I usually do. Then adding the AC breaking prevented me from being able to record anything really.


The point is yes there has been very few uploads in an 8 day period that has been explained why and from what I can gather if these videos were spaced out there would be no complaints even though it is the exact same amount of videos.


You do not have to binge the videos and that is your choice wether to binge it or not. However, the majority of patreon supporters voted for wanting the option to binge. The patreon is “sold” on my videos as early access and uncut videos. Which is the case now and has been. The patreon is not “sold” as daily uploads, 3+ weeks ahead or anything of the sort.


If you do not like the way I handle the patreon that is fine and you are more than able to cancel your subscription or not renew it on the 1st if that is your choice. But the vast majority of the supporters on patreon have voted on bulk uploads and I personally agree that makes more sense then just scheduling things out forcing you all to wait but giving the “illusion” of more videos.

That being said I will be continuing to run the patreon the way it currently is run as the votes show the vast majority of y’all agree. If you do have any input feel free to express below, as I will be reading every comment.


Also just as a quick update hopefully my AC should be fixed today so I will be doing my best to try and record a few videos over the next few days leading up to my big record days later in the week. I’ll keep you all updated and hopefully should at least have some videos up between today and tomorrow.

I agree with you. Keep doing as you do Ruff, Your health matters and if you need to do something, then that should be respected as well.

From my pov: I really appreciate the update, although you shouldn’t feel the need to justify yourself - especially after the poll As long as I enjoy your reactions (which I really do!) I will support you even if you upload only one video each month. Your reactions are as enjoyable as they are, because they are pure and I can feel your enjoyment! If you start to feel stressed and your love for anime gets ruined by a permanent pressure to deliver content, it will show in your enthusiasm and that would be a shame ... So, keep doing what you love and keep doing it at your own pace! :)

How in the hell are you surviving in Texas with no AC??? I live in Houston and just going outside for more than 20 minutes is a challenge.

They gave us a little portable one for the bedroom. It’s helped but it’s still horrible 🙃 And since the office is on the other side of the apartment it’s like a sauna in there

Im mostly here for AOT and One piece, but mostly AOT, cause I just love this freaking show so much that i’ll enjoy any reactions on it, especially you Ruff, cause your funny as shit and I also love your laugh(I also enjoy jojo, so jojo fans plz don’t come after my head😁).

You do you man! As one of the people who are lucky enough to see your vids uncut before YouTube, let’s just say it’s a blessing. Those of you complaining find something else to watch. It’s like when a new episode comes out once a week, if you watch you know you’re gonna have to wait for another. Don’t complain and be happy that you even have this opportunity.
