WELP. I take a little break from making YouTube videos and the above is what happens! I completely forget how to make short(ish) vlogs bahaha.

The "Kitchen Timer Method" has been a lifesaver for me (and what little sanity I still have lolol), and since I'll be gone for a bit on a writing retreat, I know I'm going to use it again to help me upon my return.

The book advises that you shouldn't do more than four hour-long writing sessions per day, and I personally found that three was usually my max while still feeling good the next day.

BUT!!! In the greatest twist of all, I actually....like....hour-long sprints now?!

I'm feeling like a whole new writer! Maybe I'll learn to love outlining next or naming characters, who knows?! Bahaha.

My next doctor appointment is still a while from now, but the anxiety is melting away slowly and that feels like half the battle. To that end, I'd like to use y'all as guinea pigs once again for my first stream in a long, long while! I want to test out using the Kitchen Timer Method twice during the stream, taking specific yoga/movement breaks, and a couple other little things. I think it'll be fun! :)

So tomorrow at 1:00pm CDT, I hope to see y'all for a Live Kitchen Timer Extravaganza (the name needs help, I know lolol). If all goes well, we'll plan* to do another on Friday to try to hit our usual "Double Stream Day" for the month. (The * of course being that no migraine pops up, but I'll be sure to communicate with y'all!)

I'll be working on Project Death and some Preptober shenanigans. Anyone else ready for the pre-NaNoWriMo hype??

This year, I'm trying some new things. One of which is creating a ✨NaNo Advent Calendar✨.

So if I could ask y'all for one more thing today: Can you drop your FAVORITE quote from an author you love?? It can be about writing, storytelling, life in general, silly or serious. Whatever motivates you! I'm hoping to use a "quote a day" kind of thing for inspiration.

Thanks y'all, hope to see you soon, and happy writing!!

A fave quote of mine is: “You must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you.”~ Ray Bradbury.
