STREAMING AGAIN TONIGHT! (Patreon)

See the last couple of posts for details, but I will be streaming again tonight (planning to start) at 8 PM EST! The plan is to finish this Night in the Woods commission, which was sketched/inked/shaded on Sunday night and still needs color.

(I am also currently working on patreon sketches, so those should be ready to post by the end of the week at the latest! Thanks again for your patience, yall.)

Like on Sunday, I am again collecting tips as donations to go to bailout and mutual aid funds through ActBlue.

And just for good measure, here's the stream rules again in case any of you decide to pop by and watch:

STREAMING RULES:

  • No slurs, no bullying, no harassment. Don't be a jerk.
  • Swear-words aren't blocked, but try not to curse excessively. If someone is uncomfortable with your language and asks you to stop, listen to them.
  • Keep the space safe for all races, religions, sexualities, and gender identities. Discriminatory language and/or deliberate spamming/trolling is not tolerated. No racism, homophobia, transphobia, islamophobia, antisemitism, misogyny, etc. 
  • Keep it SFW. The audience in these streams will probably be coming from my regular art accounts more than from Dirtybird, so kinky discussion should be saved for elsewhere! This includes stuff that's technically SFW but still a kink. Don't talk about things that you wouldn't also be comfortable with teens or someone's nice aunt weighing in on. 
  • ***For everyone's general safety, avoid giving out or asking for personal identifying details. No doxxing.***

Honestly, your streams should be considered a refuge from the bicker on social media. We all may have different ideological opinions, but certainly we can get along somewhere 😊

Agreed, I'm not interested in arguing with anybody and I don't think anyone else in the stream is either-- solidarity is the important thing and I for one definitely am reading enough about upsetting current events when I'm NOT drawing so I'd like the space to stay low-stress for my sake too, lol. So far the stream chat has been a pleasant place to be and I'll be keeping a careful eye on it to make sure it stays that way.

Yeah I understand about the upsetting part. I've snoozed a lot of friends on both sides of the ideological spectrum on Facebook. To be completely Frank, I just don't want to see it anymore I'm trying to stay out of the news and allow myself some peace

And it's like this since the first one, so yeas it's a nice refuge for me and other when we want get out from bad things and news. Also... I haven't found how to do donation last time XwX.. can you tell me what I must do when I come in the streaming ? Cause I'll be realy happy to contribuate a bit today >~<

Being bombarded constantly isn't healthy for anybody, I have had to stop myself from checking Facebook as well. Even if I agree with what I'm seeing and am ignited to fight for change by it, it's very easy to cross the line into feeling depressed and helpless, which is the total opposite of what I want. That said, this picture in particular IS related even if I want to keep the chat a relaxed place-- so if seeing this stuff at all is stressful, you might want to wait to join in on the streams until I'm working on other pictures.

That's great! I'm really glad that I've been able to create that kind of space. But yes, it took ages to try and get the donation link to work-- so in order to find it, you'll want to scroll directly down on the Twitch page, below where the video is playing. There will be a button that says "Tip or Donate". If you click that, it should take you to a Paypal page where you can donate. If that gives you trouble, let me know and I can link you directly to the place I'm giving the money. As long as it all ends up going to the right place, I don't care if it goes through me first!
