Dear Mavrip Patrons:

With Thanksgiving just around the corner here in America, we're cooking up plenty of fat-laden goodies for you to gobble!  Here's a quick taste of what's to come--

*The next chapter of our new weight-gain serial, "Savanah’s Swan Song," will debut next week (accompanied by never-before-seen illustrations from the mighty Magmaman). Many expressed surprise at the sci-fi-ish twist introduced in the most recent chapter. This AI element was partially inspired by friend and fellow weight-gain author, Kid A, who wrote a story over the summer called “The Fridge” in which a rich socialite and her svelte figure fall victim to a vengeful AI-occupied refrigerator (there are smart phones, so why not a smart fridge?). Anyway, I liked the story, but—considering the outrageousness of the concept—expected it to delve further into horror territory. As you know, I like to blend horror with weight-gain from time-to-time and “Savanah’s Swan Song” is my AI-inspired stab at the genre. Poor Savanah is headed for an AI-aided descent into hell...and a rapid ascent on the scale! Stay tuned!

*Speaking of weight-gain horror, one of my very first horror/weight-gain blends, “The Wicked Stepfather,” turns twenty this year. While we’re not going to reach the level of pomp and circumstance we did to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of “The Lesson” (my first piece of weight-gain fiction) we will be releasing some special content before the end of the year to acknowledge that disturbing story. First up is a special edition of “Chewing the Fat” featuring Lisa, the author of the original tale from which my 2003 “revisitation” was based. We’ll discuss what prompted the (then) athletic teenager to write it, how some of its fictional elements eventually became fact, and what she’s been up to since.  (Spoiler alert: 300 pounds!)

There's more on the menu--including another collaboration with a well-known weight-gain illustrator--but we'd prefer to surprise you when its ready.  Better bring your appetites!

Thank you, as always, for your friendship and support.  It means the world to us and inspires us daily.

Sincerely,

Maverick

The horror element is a very entertaining aspect to the weight gain revenge genre. As much as I admire chubby chicks, the prestige and status physically fit females receive isn't always fair. Especially when the character flaunts her beauty and takes advantage of the perks and privileges based squarely on her looks. Thus the popular babe ballooning into a blimp and experiencing what life is like for those who need to constantly count calories or have many boys who are friends but no boyfriend is enjoyable.

I always thought it was a natural fit since many women consider getting fat a fate worse than death.
