Dear Patrons:

Happy New Year!  We hope your 2022 is off to a terrific start.  Is it me, or is there a bit more optimism in the air?  Let's hope it continues.

Speaking of optimism, here at Mavrip we always stay positive...and right now we're positive there will be lots of subversive weight gain coming your way in 2022!   One gal in the 'Maverick Universe' you'll be seeing LOTS of in the New Year is the owner of the glorious gams teased in the header above, Shelby Jackson, who you first met in the epilogue for the 25th Anniversary of The Lesson.  She stars in our second One Night Adventure game, tentatively titled 'The Tutor,' in which you play a teacher tasked with tutoring the gorgeous High School socialite.  Depending on how you play, you'll have the opportunity to broaden more than her mind and expand more than her horizons!

Since this is the biggest project we've tackled so far on Mavrip, I wanted it to be the focus of this month's SOTP address, so I asked my Patreon partner, Riptoryx, who is currently assisting with the editing of this monstrosity, to prepare a few words.  As is often the case with Rip, he over-delivered, turning what I thought would be a short preview snippet into the detailed (and downloadable) progress report you see attached!

Is there a general ETA of when the game will be released?

A lot depends on Riptoryx' review. We're in the 80-90% complete range, but that means there's still 10-20% left. Trust me, no one wants this thing out more than I do (I already feel like a pregnant woman who's a month past due), but we've worked too hard to fumble this thing at the goal line. The plan is to release a playable Beta version before the official release. Hopefully, once Rip gets back to me with all his notes we can come up with a schedule.

Was it you guys who planned to release some weight gain content related to Mass Effect or something similar? It seemed like you guys were mentioning frequently for awhile but then it stopped popping up in the updates. Did I miss something?

That was us, Jarrod! No, you didn't miss anything. As far as I know, Rip is still plugging away during his free time, but I'll defer to him for an update. I don't know much more about it than you guys, frankly. I'm sure I'll be involved at some point (like Rip is with mine currently), but the initial development of both our game projects was done autonomously.
