Dear Patrons:

There’s something lovely about September, isn’t there? The weather is cooler, college freshmen are learning more than just their minds are being broadened, and a seemingly endless parade of holiday feasting and imbibing is just around the corner. Of course, there’s much more “around the corner” here at Mavrip. What, you ask? Read on:

* The stakes are getting as high as the weights of the girls in the “Harem on the Hill”! Glad you seem to be enjoying the serial’s developments! (A special thanks to Michael and WankA12 for their continued correspondence and encouragement.) Expect a new chapter to hit the Patreon on Monday or Tuesday.

*I’ve been working diligently on the next One Night Adventure game (officially titled “The Tudor”) and am optimistic it will be ready for beta testing next month. It’s grown bigger than I ever intended (just like the red-headed hottie at the adventure’s center!), but I’m pleased with how it’s coming together.

*As for the planned 25th Anniversary festivities for "The Lesson," my seminal weight-gain tale from 1996, I’ll let my pal Riptoyx bring everyone up to speed:

Regarding our plans for the special 25th Anniversary Edition of "The Lesson," we have some bad news and some good news. On the disappointing side, we recently learned that due to unforeseen events Magmaman probably will not be able to complete the contemplated illustrations within a time that lines up with our release target. It's unfortunate but such things happen. Yet even this sad cloud has a silver lining--quite literally, in fact. Unwavering in our commitment to include an illustrated component as part of the release, we've now also enlisted up-and-coming illustrator SilverPathfinder to create a 9-part set of original custom illustrations based on "The Lesson." So, when we release the anniversary edition you'll all be getting exclusive early access to those SilverPathfinder illustrations plus potentially more original illustrations from Magmaman later on.

Thanks Rip! I love Magma’s work, of course, but am excited to work with SilverPathFinder. Her illustrative style is a bit more whimsical and playful than Magma’s, which will add a different flavor. Check it out: https://www.deviantart.com/silverpathfinder.

*I don’t want to spoil all the celebratory surprises, but I will clue you in on one other fun bit of content we’ve been coordinating for the occasion: A special narrated version of “The Lesson” voiced by our friend and Patreon partner in crime, GoodGirlGrow! Soon, instead of just reading about poor Susan outgrowing her Burger World uniform you’ll be able to see it and hear it!

I hoped to end this SOTP with an official release date for our anniversary project, but we’re not QUITE ready to announce it yet. We don’t want to make promises we can’t keep and, as we learned with Magma’s situation, the more third-party artisans involved the greater the risk of delays and distractions…especially in these crazy times.  Thank you for your understanding.

And, as always, thank you for your patronage! None of the good stuff on the horizon would be possible without you!

Sincerely—

Maverick

I’m so willing to wait for Magaman content cause that shit is so fucking good. So I really hope that will be incorporated into the project at a later date. It would be a shame to miss out on it.

WankA12

What else can I say? You make good shit. The only thing that would have made the latest release even better is if Tina had decided to get herself pregnant by her man. As a sign of dedication to being harmless.

Michael

What WankA12 said, but if this was a vote I'd choose gaining to over 500 pounds as a sign of commitment over a pregnancy 😜 The story really is getting so damn good, now that the girls are finally reaching my preferred weight class.

Hahah. Some of our Patreon friends here are particularly vicious in their fattening aspirations. I like it. ; ) -Riptoryx

I'll bet Magma would appreciate that kind of praise. Maverick and I will have to make sure he hears of it. But yes, it's still my hope that we will get Magma's illustrated interpretation of the "The Lesson" eventually. Including SliverPathfinder with this project isn't intended as a "replacement" for Magma's work. Rather, it seemed like a preferable way to allow space for Magma to do various stuff that needs doing while also ensuring folks at MAVRIP still will have some fun new illustrations to enjoy with this upcoming special edition of "The Lesson" the moment it is released. When all is said and done, I think the end result probably will be more original illustrations for everybody. Seems like a good thing to me! And, as Maverick and I often mention, creative collaborations like this wouldn't be feasible without the generous support of patrons like you. Thanks! -Riptoryx

Michael

I mean I love to imagine Tina while she is both 500+ pounds and pregnant at the same time, but raising a child in a harem? Nah.

Michael

You know what, I’ve changed my mind. Tina is clearly wife material, but she needs to understand that she can only be harem queen, if she becomes the fattest girl at the harem. So let’s make her huge, knock her up and keep some (SS)BBW sex slaves on the side that the kids don’t have to know about.
